Why Do Some People Assume Being Single Is Wrong?
Do you ever get that look, when someone hears you are “still” single? That question – as to why no one has married you yet. Or why you don’t have a significant other yet? As if we haven’t been asked, or something? As if where we are, right now, as a single person isn’t where were are suppose to be at this moment in time? As if we aren’t on track? As if by doing the thing that actually takes courage – staying single until we are with the right person -instead of going from wrong person to wrong person to wrong person, or marrying the next available person just because we can – is actually the better option?
So here’s to all my single compatriots out there. When these things happen – keep the following in mind. Don’t buy into it. You, are not wrong. You, are not in the wrong place. Where ever you are in life, is exactly where you are meant to be. And it’s OK. Your love life IS on track. And don’t let anyone tell you differently.
